Meet Your Instructor

Felicia Alvarez founded Menagerie Farm & Flower specializing in garden roses, specialty flowers, French prunes, assorted stone fruits, nuts and rice on over 100 acres of beautiful California farmland. She is a third generation farmer and entrepreneur who has been farming for over two decades.

Felicia’s sustainable farming practices are an all-inclusive approach to creating a healthy small scale farm. She shares her passion for nature, art, science and farming with educational outreach, teaching her love of the land to both beginning & experienced gardeners and farmers from across the country. Helping others learn simple ways to bring food & flowers together in their home is her greatest joy.
